tim-humanikSenior Vice President, Tim Humanik has responsibility for the Retail Marketplace Insights, Consumer Insights & Analytics, and Strategic Insights & Support teams, along with other business services related groups. Humanik coordinates the company’s data collection and analytical teams to support the marketing efforts of the company’s publisher clients and other channel partners, as well as to find increased efficiencies in its field force operations.

Humanik’s staff works on either a continuing or ad hoc basis with magazine marketers at the publisher, wholesale and retail level on a wide range of initiatives, from plan-o-gram development to promotion evaluation. Since joining CMG in 2000, he has been instrumental in the development of CMG’s consumer insights & analytical capabilities – earning a reputation for providing business partners with sound, unbiased marketing assistance.

Humanik was presented with CMG’s IMPACT Player of the Year Award in 2006 for his exceptional, individual contributions to the company’s success. He spent the first ten years of his professional career in a number of increasingly-responsible retail management positions for Harris Teeter. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
